This is an illustration for a german carol called "From Heaven High O Angels Come"

Gah... This picture took me forever. T_T I had so much trouble with it. Originally there were 2 angels, one in the background playing a violin but by the time I finished this angel the second one didn't look as good so I didn't bother lining it. I dunno I think I had a lot of trouble becaues most x-mas carols are all religious and to me x-mas means something very different. Meh... I did better on my cel shading so that was good and I like the wings.

Hopefully I have some sort of chance at the contest. BTW this is for the X-mas Carol Contest that ^touchedvenus is holding.

The background looks really pretty *o* I love the flowy hair! I think her dress would stand out more if you used a darker color for shading :3

ya but I wanted a softer feel to the dress. If I used a darker color the shadows would be too hard. Meh... I dunno... this pic gave my quite the headache... I know I skimped a bit effort wise but at least I made it through lol. Thanks for the point.
