Ok so... I finally got around to getting my lazy programming self to make a journal layout. Actually since I did the journal code for my sis I just basically joinked the exact same code and just changed around the colors ... what can I say I'm a lazy programmer. The header is made from a sketch that my sis did 2 years ago, I think she was planning to make a t-shirt with it or something but never got around to it so I asked if I could CG it. It's supposed to be me as a llama chibi... looooong story as to why a llama but those who hang out with me enough in real life know about the crazyness that is TEH LLAMA!

I haven't been up too much... reading scientific-like papers and doing work on projects... the usual. But I've re-organized my life a bit so hopefully I'll get to doing some more art and finishing that damn Yuuko pic *pokes it with a stick* T_T I'm trying to avoid it because I have to do shading and I suck at that. But to start on my next art I gotta finish this one so I'll get around to it soon.

On the cosplay side... I've gotten nearly all of my fabrics for my Musketeer cosplay... just missing some burgandy/brown stuff and trims but other than that I'm ready to go. I'm gonna start bugging our project group about starting to do the corsets probably next week. This weekend J and I are also making a pilgramage down to get leather and possibly some more suede for her other cosplays (she's got her heart set on Selva from GE so we gotta stock up on blue and purple suede while it's available at zee Walmart XD). We're also gonna go do a photo scout out and maybe even get the first set of our Nanoha shots done on Sunday... assuming it doesn't rain... we've been getting a lot of rain lately.

To those that are watching mine and my sister's cosplay account over at , I appologize for the inbox spam... we've revamped our entire gallery (J has done some nice work with our pics... go see them if you haven't yet) and re-uploaded all of our photo sets. I also went down to Boldt Castle over the weekend... took about 4 hours driving each way in a crazy thunderstorm and it rained during most of our visit.. but it was still good. Boldt Castle is over in Lake Ontario near the St. Lawrence Seaway... it's on the American side so we had to bring passports. The castle itself was a bit of a let down on the inside. It was only maybe 1/4 renovated and restored and the restoration that they did wasn't all that great quality wise. But on the outside the place looks absolutely stunning. The whole island is beautiful and there are lots of nice details throughout. We went there mainly to 1) enjoy the castle & island and 2) to do some scouting for a possible GE photoshoot. Most of my pics were blurry and mainly crappy because I really wasn't into taking pics that day but J's and my dad's turned out wonderfully... so I yoinked a few from J off our LJ community to share.
